“FACTS ABOUT MEEKNESS!”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him demonstrate it by his good way of life, by actions done in the humility that grows out of wisdom.” (James 3:13)

Who is there among you who is wise and intelligent? Then, let him by his noble living show forth his good works with the unobtrusive humility, which is the proper attribute of true wisdom.

FACTS ABOUT MEEKNESS

It must be sought after (Zephaniah 2:3).
Ministers and believers as well must be characterised with humility (2 Corinthians 10:1 / Galatians 6:1 / Ephesians 4:2 / 2 Timothy 2:25 / Titus 3:2).

Meekness is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:23).
It should be put on (Colossians 3:12).
It should be followed (1 Timothy 6:11).

It should be used in dealing with all opposition (2 Timothy 2:25).
It should be demonstrated (James 3:13 / Titus 3:2).
It must be used in receiving the truth of the gospel (James 1:21).

BLESSINGS TO THE MEEK
They will eat and be satisfied (Psalms 22:26).
They will be guided and taught the way (Psalms 25:9).

They will inherit the earth (Psalms 37:11).
They will be lifted up (Psalms 147:6).
They will be beautified with salvation (Psalms 149:4).

Their joy increased in the Lord (Isaiah 29:19).
They are patient (2 Timothy 2:24-25).

Christ Jesus (Matthew 11:29 / 21:5 / Isaiah 42:1-4)
