“SERVE THE LORD TOTALLY WITH ALL YOUR HEART”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Don’t obey just to win their favour, serving only when they are watching you; but serve as slaves of the Messiah, doing what God wants with all your heart. Work willingly as slaves, as people do who are serving not merely human beings but the Lord……” (Ephesians 6:6-8).

Always do what is right and not only when others are watching, so that you may please Christ as His servants by doing His will. Serve your employers wholeheartedly and with love, as though you were serving Christ and not men.

Be assured that anything you do that is beautiful and excellent will be repaid by our Lord, whether you are an employee or an employer.

Regardless of the heaviness of the cross to be carried, the persecution and difficulties we face, we are to reach out to the lost and bring them to the Lord.

Jesus came to serve, not to be served, but to give His life as a ransom for men. “Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28).

There must be the cross before the crown.
There must be service before the reward.
If your service to the Lord does not present any hardship, difficulty, criticism or misrepresentation, that service is not to the level or limit that God wants in your life.

We have opportunities and challenges today to reach forth and enjoy the full benefits of the cross as well as to help save the lost. Beloved, will you accept the opportunities and the challenges that come from bearing the cross?

WE ARE CALLED TO SERVE AND NOT TO BE SERVED.
