“BE EQUIPPED TO FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH WITH GOD’S ARMOUR!”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“Fight the good fight of the faith, take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you testified so well to your faith before many witnesses” (1 Timothy 6:12).
So fight with faith for the winner’s prize! Lay your hands upon eternal life, to which you were called and about which you made the good confession before the multitude of witnesses!
THE ARMOURY OF CHRIST’S SOLDIER
(1 Timothy 6:12 / Jude 3 / Ephesians 6:13-18 / 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 / Philippians 1:11 / Mark 16:15)
God has equipped Christ’s soldiers with defensive weapons for the battle.
The devil can test and try us but our Heavenly Father will not allow him to test us beyond our strength.
It is through confrontation with Satan and his agents that we as believers develop our spiritual muscles for victory and come forth as pure gold.
DEFENSIVE WEAPONS (Ephesians 6:14-16)
- The Helmet Of Salvation
Ensure that our salvation experience is genuine / current and that heaven testifies that our names are in the Book of Life.
- The Breastplate Of Righteousness
The righteousness of the Pharisee’s attitude is suicidal in spiritual warfare (Matthew 5:20). True holiness and righteousness from God is the standard.
- The Gospel Of Peace
The preaching of the gospel grants protection and power of God upon us (Matthew 28:20 / Mark 16:17-18).
- The Shield Of Faith
This enables us to ward off the dirty strategies and fiery darts of the enemy.
OFFENSIVE WEAPONS (Ephesians 6:17-18)
- The Sword Of The Spirit
The Word of God is quick, powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrew 4:12). It is a crushing hammer (Jeremiah 23:29), and a devouring flame (Jeremiah 5:14).
A Christian warrior must be saturated with the Word of God.
- The Name Of Jesus
The name of Jesus is above all other names which makes demons flee and heaven to stand at attention (Philippians 2:7-11).
- The Blood Of Jesus (Revelations 12:11)
- The Power Of God (Ephesians 6:10 / Luke 10:19) Remember that we are kept by the power of God (Jeremiah 1:18).
- The Spirit Of God (Isaiah 59:19)
- We are equipped to fight to the end with victory insight in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
