FPT: Narratives about Happiness

Senior Pastor Daniel O. C. | Jul 19, 2024

Beloved Saint of God Most High,

Calvary greetings to you and yours in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen!
May the Lord God Almighty bless you with a wonderful and glorious Christ-centred week-end ahead in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

“Therefore, I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” (Matthew 6:25-27).

Therefore, Adonai Yeshua declared, stop being perpetually uneasy, anxious and worried about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater in quality than food, and the body far above and more excellent than clothing?

Consider the birds, do you think they worry about their existence?
They don’t plant or reap or store up food, yet your Heavenly Father provides them each with food.
Aren’t you much more valuable to your Father than they? So, which one of you by worrying could add anything to your life?

NARRATIVES ABOUT HAPPINESS

Happiness is a choice, not a result.
Nothing will make you happy until you choose to be happy in the Lord.
No person will make you happy unless you decide to be happy based on God’s word.
Your happiness will not come to you but can only come from you.

People only bring up your past when they are intimidated by your present due to God’s forgiveness.
A wise man once said: Excuses make today easy, but tomorrow hard. Discipline makes today hard but tomorrow easy.

Your youth and health are temporary without the grace of God.
Your entire life in this world is temporary without relationship with Christ Jesus.
But your relationship with God is ETERNAL in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!.

Silence an angry man with God’s love.
Silence a liar with the truth of Jesus Christ.
Only in the storm can you see the art of the real sailor who trusts in his God.
Only on the battlefield can you see the bravery of a soldier who trusts in the Lord.
The courage of a simple person can be seen in how he copes with the difficult and dangerous situations in life.

There are two vices much darker and more serious than the rest: lack of persistence and lack of self-control.
Our freedom can be measured by the number of things we can walk away from in Jesus’ mighty name!
An umbrella cannot stop the rain, but can make you stand in the rain.
Confidence may not bring success but give us power to face any challenge in life with God’s mercy.
The only keeper of your happiness is you in Christ.
Stop giving people power to control your smile. Your worth and attitude depends on God Almighty.

Somebody shout, “MY HAPPINESS IS IN CHRIST JESUS.

Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,
Dr. Daniel O. C.
