CONTEMPLATIVE NARRATIVES

Senior Pastor Daniel O. C. | Jul 18, 2025

Beloved Saint of God Most High,

Calvary greetings to you and yours in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen!
May the Lord God Almighty bless you with a wonderful and glorious Christ-centred weekend ahead in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

“As for you, son of man, the children of your people are talking about you beside the walls and in the doors of the houses; and they speak to one another, everyone saying to his brother, ‘Please come and hear what the word is that comes from the Lord.’
So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain.
Indeed you are to them as a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant voice and can play well on an instrument; for they hear your words, but they do not do them.” (Ezekiel 33:30-32).

As for you, son of man, your people who talk of you by the walls and in the doors of the houses say one to another, everyone to his brother, Come and hear what the word is that comes forth from the Lord. And they come to you as people come, and they sit before you as My people, and they hear the words you say, but they will not do them; for with their mouths, they show much love, but their hearts go after and are set on their idolatrous greed for gain. Behold, you are to them as a very lovely love song of one who has a pleasant voice and can play well on an instrument, for they hear your words but do not do them.

CONTEMPLATIVE NARRATIVES

You are not stuck. You are just scared to be uncomfortable. Comfort zones feel safe, but they quietly kill dreams.
Love all. Trust a few. Do wrong to none.
It is not enough to be intelligent; you must also have the right character.
Speak less. Listen more. React less. Observe more.

You are not a problem to fix but a story unfolding. A masterpiece becoming.
Honour the Lord in your life’s journey and it shall be well with you.
Every storm runs out of rain. Keep walking for you are headed towards sunshine. Keep moving forward in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
Leadership is not the power to command but the courage to serve with humility for God’s glory.

The man who learns slowly but never stops will always surpass the man who learns fast but quits early.
Consistency beats talent when talent is not consistent.
Most of your stress comes from the way you respond to life and not the way life really is.
Adjust your attitude and leave that stress behind in Jesus’ mighty, name!
Any person who must hurt others to feel powerful is a very weak individual.

If anything costs you your peace, it is too expensive. Eradicate and eliminate it.
The sad truth is that there are some people who will only be there for you if you have something they need.
When you no longer serve a purpose to them, they will leave.
The GOOD NEWS is, if you tough it out, you will eventually weaken these people out of your life and be left with some great people you can count on.
We rarely lose friends, we just gradually figure out who our real ones are.

KEEP IN MIND:

One smile can start a friendship.
One word can end a fight.
One look can save a relationship.
One person can save your life.
WE HAVE ONE GOD AND ONE MEDIATOR; CHRIST JESUS IS HE!

Somebody shout, “PRAISE THE LORD!

Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,

Dr. Daniel O. C.
