“SAILING THROUGH LIFE’S STORMS”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“Adonai will guard you against all harm; he will guard your life. Adonai will guard your coming and going from now on and forever” (Psalm 121:7-8)..
He will keep you from every form of evil or calamity as he continuously watches over you.
You will be guarded by God himself. You will be safe when you leave your home, and safely you will return. He will protect you now, and He’ll protect you forevermore!
SAILING THROUGH LIFE’S STORMS
The eagle that soars near the sun is not concerned or bothered how it will cross the raging stream. In the same way, a Christian who draws near to God must not be concerned about how to sail through life’s storms.
As Satan always prepares his weapons to shoot at the saints, we the saints must learn to soar above the range of Satan’s weapons. If your all is in the hand of God, why then do you worry about what people say?
The problems and difficulties of life can be compared to storms. In the scripture portion Mark 4:35-41, one can easily notice that the disciples had no reason to be afraid because they were in the perfect will of God. Jesus was the one who told them to cross over the lake (verse 35), and this is a word from the Lord.
If the Lord tells us to cross over surely He will be with us. He will not forsake us at all (1 Samuel 12:22 / Isaiah 54:10, 15, 17 / Psalm 125:1-2 / Romans 10:11). Whenever the Lord speaks to us, all we need to do is to act upon the divine word, regardless of how foolish that word seems to us especially in the time of storm.
Moses the servant of God acted upon God’s word to divide the Red Sea with his rod (Exodus 14:15-16).
Gideon acted upon God’s word to him and saw victory (Judges 7:7-9).
Simon Peter acted upon the word of the Lord and saw a miracle (Luke 5:4-7).
The man at the pool of Bethesda acted upon the word of the Lord and was healed (John 5:5-9).
The disciples acted upon the word of the Lord at Cana in Galilee and the water was turned into wine (John 2:7-9).
Beloved saints of God, we must act upon the word of God and be saved from our problems now (Isaiah 45:22-24).
We need not be afraid of the storms of life (2 Timothy 1:7) if we are in a good relationship and right position with God our Maker. How do we know that we are in the right position with Christ (1 John 1:7)?
We must not also be pre-occupied with the worldly possessions (Matthew 6:19-21). Don’t get distracted but keep focused on the the Lord God in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
“YOUR ARE SHIELDED AND DIVINELY PROTECTED!”
Somebody shout, “AMEN HALLELUJAH!”
Shalom and good morning.
