“PRESERVATION THROUGH THE WORD”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Adonai directs a person’s steps, and he delights in his way. He may stumble, but he won’t fall headlong, for Adonai holds him by the hand” (Psalm 37:23-24).

The steps of a good man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way and He busies Himself with his every step. Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him.

PRESERVATION THROUGH THE WORD
The Word of God has power to keep us holy. “Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You” (Psalm 119:11).

The psalmist, concerned about purity within and without asks: “How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word” (Psalm 119:9).

He knew that true cleansing does not come through church attendance, self-righteousness or any acts of kindness or wit, except by the Word of God.

It is by taking heed according to the Word of God which will assure our victory and success.
Our obedience to the word keeps us in the path of righteousness, purity and holiness.

The Lord is calling everyone stained with evil or partakers in other men’s sins to come out and be separate. Who is on the Lord’s side? Let him take His stand and come to the Lord.

Then Moses stood in the entrance of the camp and said, “Whoever is on the LORD’S side, let him come to me.” And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to him (Exodus 32:26).

Keep yourself pure. Make up your mind to break away from all forms of evil associations. “Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more.”

“I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Revelation 3:11-13).

O God, Adonai Yahweh, how extravagant is your cherishing love! All mankind can find a hiding place under the shadow of Your wings in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
