“BELIEVERS’ CHALLENGES IN THE LIGHT OF THE RAPTURE”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“And it is all from God, who through the Messiah has reconciled us to himself and has given us the work of that reconciliation, which is that God in the Messiah was reconciling mankind to himself, not counting their sins against them, and entrusting to us ……….” (2 Corinthians 5:18-19).
All things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself and received us into favour. He brought us into harmony with Himself and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him.
It was God personally present in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favour with Himself, not counting and holding against men their trespasses but cancelling them, and committing to us the message of reconciliation of the restoration to favour.
BELIEVERS’ CHALLENGES IN THE LIGHT OF THE RAPTURE
Commitment is what transforms a promise to reality. Commitment is the word that speaks boldly of our intentions. It is also making time when there is none.
Commitment is what makes character what it is. It is the daily triumph of integrity over skepticism. Therefore, our honest commitment to God will prepare us for the rapture.
The Holy Bible which is the holy word of God has elucidated clearly the following challenges to us:
- We are to refrain from judging others (1 Corinthians 4:5 / Matthew 7:1-4), that is avoid having a judgemental attitude.
- We are to observe the Lord’s Supper with the rapture in mind (1 Corinthians 11:26).
- We must always be connected with heaven (Colossians 3:1-4).
- We must love believers and all people (1 Thessalonians 3:12-13).
- We are to comfort the bereaved (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).
- We are to preach the word of God to all (2 Timothy 4:1-4).
- We are to have fellowship and also attend services of the Lord’s people regularly (Hebrews 10:23-25).
- We are to exercise patience (James 5:8-9).
- We are to live and maintain a life of separation (1 John 3:2-3).
- We are to win souls (Jude 1:21-23).
BE READY FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD!
Shalom and good morning.
