“BELOVED, YOUR MISSON IN LIFE IS TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Therefore he said, ‘A nobleman went to a country far away to have himself crowned king and then return. Calling ten of his servants, he gave them ten manim (a maneh is about three months’ wages) and said to them, ‘Do business with this while I’m away’” (Luke 19:12-13).

So Adonai Yeshua told them this story to change their perspective: Once a wealthy prince left his province to travel to a distant land, where he would be crowned king and then return.

Before he departed he summoned his ten servants together and charged them, I am entrusting each of you with fifty thousand dollars to invest while I am away. Trade with it and put the money to work until I return.

HOW TO USE OUR TALENTS AND SKILLS FOR SERVICE
Believer’s talents are not to be laid up for self but laid out in service for God’s glory and honour.

There are three types of Christians who respond to the call to service.
Rowboat Christians – have to be pushed.
Sailboat Christians – always go with wind.
Steamboat Christians – make up their mind where they ought to go and go there regardless of wind and weather.

The Bible is a collection of sacred writings of over forty God-inspired skilled and talented authors (2 Pet 1:21) which has transformed and continue to transform lives.

Much has been accomplished in Christianity through the writings of various men of God. Each generation from the apostolic age had something reserved for the next generation.

The reporters were successful in exposing the false doctrines of their time and also enlightening people with the truth which they circulated.

God depends on us today. As believers we are the gospel information managers. We are to disseminate information about Jesus Christ and His saving grace. Some people ignore reading or listening to news but no one can afford to neglect reading or hearing the gospel message.

It is imperative for every believer to share the gospel with persons that we come in contact with. The gospel message is the only information that leads people to life transformation.

The message of the gospel is the only information through which problems are solved and bondages broken. The gospel is the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

It is through the spread of the good news of the gospel that people become better citizens and above all citizens of the heavenly kingdom.

Beloved, be part of this gospel endeavour for God’s glory in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
