THE UNIQUENESS OF CHRIST JESUS (CONT’D)
Beloved saints of God, do consider what the great prophets of the Bible also have to say about Jesus Christ, it is really inspiring.
- In Isaiah, He is the King of kings, the Man of Sorrow who was wounded for our transgressions.
- In Jeremiah, He is the Lord, our Righteousness.
- In Lamentations, He is the Weeping Prophet, weeping over Jerusalem and over unrepentant people of the world.
- In Ezekiel, He is the Watchman over the sheep of the fold.
- In Daniel, He is the Great Companion in the fiery furnace of affliction of the adversary.
- In Hosea, He is the Merciful Lover. Willing to receive and restore the backslider.
- In Joel, He is the Deliverer and the Baptizer, who poured out His Spirit upon all flesh.
- In Amos, He is the Consuming Fire, judging sinners in righteousness.
- In Obadiah, He is the Possession of the redeemed.
- In Jonah, He is the One seeking the lost.
- In Micah, He is the Ruler whose going forth has been of old.
- In Nahum, He is the Stronghold in the day of trouble.
- In Habakkuk, He is the Ever Present Lord, whose presence in the temple brings mercy and revival.
- In Zephaniah, He is the Mighty One, Mighty to save from sins and protect His people from judgement.
- In Haggai, He is the Desire of all nations.
- In Zechariah, He is the Fountain to cleanse us from all sins.
- In Malachi, He is the Purifier, the Refiner and the Sun of Righteousness.
Christ Jesus is unique in the Old and New Testament. He is unique everywhere, every time and in all things. Praise the Lord.
