“CONFESSION OF OUR TRUST IN THE GOOD SHEPHERD”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Shepherd the flock of God that is in your care, exercising oversight not out of constraint, but willingly, as God wants; and not out of a desire for dishonest gain, but with enthusiasm……..” (1 Peter 5:2-4)

We must be compassionate shepherds who tenderly care for God’s flock and who feed them well, for we have the responsibility to guide, protect and oversee.

We must consider it a joyous pleasure and not merely a religious duty. Lead from the heart under God’s leadership, not as a way to gain finances dishonestly but as a way to eagerly and cheerfully serve

We must not be controlling tyrants but lead others by our beautiful examples to the flock. And when the Shepherd-King appears, we will win the victor’s crown of glory that never fades away.

CONFESSION OF OUR TRUST IN THE GOOD SHEPHERD!

Thank You, Lord, for being my Good Shepherd in Jesus’ name!
Thank You, Lord, for in You, I lack nothing.

Thank You, Lord, for accepting me in the beloved in Jesus’ name!
Thank You for preparing a table of banquet for me in the presence of my enemies.

Thank You Lord for exalting me with anointing for Your glory in Jesus’ name!
O Lord, may I not bring reproach to Your holy name in Jesus’ name!

O Lord, may I represent You in truth and in spirit in Jesus’ name!
O Lord, may I be Your battle axe for Your glory in Jesus’ name!

O Lord, may I be an instrument to make You proud in Jesus’ name!
O Lord, may I love my neighbour as I love myself in Jesus’ name!

O Lord, may I never insist on my rights to the detriment of others.
O Lord, may I be willing whole-heartedly to do Your bid in Jesus’ name!

O Lord, I choose to obey Your word without questions in Jesus’ name!
O Lord, I choose not to be a faultfinder but a lover of people for Your glory in Jesus’ name!

O Lord, may I be a good defender of faith in Jesus Christ without shame.
I refuse to compromise my sincere commitment for the spreading of the gospel.

I hold on to the banner of victory in all aspects of life in Jesus’ name!
I dismiss all powers of antagonism and intimidation against me in Jesus’ name!

The Lord is my shield, fortress and deliverer at all times in Jesus’ name!
I am a warrior for God’s kingdom but not a situational worrier.

Thank You, Lord, for answering all my prayers. In Jesus’ name, Amen & Amen!
