“BE STEADFAST IN YOUR FAITH”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“Stay alert, stand firm in the faith, behave like a mentsh, grow strong. Let everything you do be done in love.” (1 Corinthians 16:13-14)
Be alert and on your guard; stand firm in your faith, your conviction respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, keeping the trust and holy fervor born of faith and a part of it. Act like men and be courageous; grow in strength!
Let everything you do be done in love, true love to God and man as inspired by God’s love for us.
STEADFAST IN STANDING UP FOR JESUS
The real test of our faith is whether we are willing to give our lives for God’s sake, whether we are willing to stand undivided for Him.
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego passed through the test of fire knowing that their God was faithful. They were steadfast unto the very end in their stand for Him.
Temptations that could draw our hearts away from the Lord, situations that test our loyalty towards Him, decisions that might cost monetary sacrifices…all of these only serve to show how faithful and steadfast we are.
“Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in His wonderful love. And the things of the earth will grow strangely dim. In the light of His glory and grace.” is a beautiful song that summarises the focus of our life.
When our eyes are fixed steadfastly on Him and He is the focus of all our love, everything else will fall in place. Nothing that is dim in His presence will ever be too important in our lives. You will never regret whatever you leave behind for the sake of the Lord and the cross.
Turn your eyes upon Him today. Turn your heart with all your sincere, personal, deepest affection and love for Him. Turn your life to follow steadfastly in His ways and you will find your heart overflowing with joy!
Without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God, Adonai Yahweh! For we come to God in faith knowing that He is real and that He rewards the faith of those who passionately seek Him.
To God be all the glory and somebody shout, “AMEN HALLELUJAH!”
Sabbath shalom and good morning.
