QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL SOUL WINNER

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

Therefore, go and make people from all nations into talmidim, immersing them into the reality of the Father, the Son and the Ruach HaKodesh, and teaching them to obey everything ……..” (Matthew 28:19-20).

Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion to the very close and consummation of the age. Amen.

REQUIREMENTS FOR FRUITFUL EVANGELISM
(Matthew 9:36-38 / John 4:34-36 / Romans 9:1-3)

The apostles of old, together with members of the early church, were obedient to the Saviour’s unchanging command to go into the world and preach the gospel. They exalted Jesus by their lives (Acts 15:25-26).

There had been men and women in contemporary times who displayed their loyalty and commitment to the great commission.

These men and women risked their lives for the gospel’s sake. Such people are Jonathan Edward, John Wesley, Martin Luther, and Charles G. Finney / D.L. Moody / William and Catherine Booth / John Bunyan / Richard Baxter and David Brainerd.

They are challenging examples of those who contended for the faith to exalt Christ through soul winning.

QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL SOUL WINNER

Conversion
As a blind cannot lead a blind, so the unconverted cannot lead anyone to Christ.
We must first meet Jesus before we can lead someone else (Job 22:21 / 2 Timothy 2:6).

Conviction
We must have the conviction that people are dead and lost without Christ and are in dire need of regeneration (Ephesians 2:1). The unsaved people are lost and need salvation (Luke 19:10).

The unsaved people are blind; they need illumination (Romans 3:19-25).
The unsaved people are debtors; they need pardon (Col 2:12). We must be an eye opener as apostle Paul was (Acts 26:18).

Cleansing
Purity of life exalts Christ and is a blessing to people.
Let holiness mark your life / actions / words and all you do.
A holy life is a mighty weapon in the hands of God (1 Peter 1:15-16).

Consecration
As the love of Christ was shown by His sacrifice for us, no amount of sacrifice we make for Him should be seen as too much (1 Cor 9:19-22 / Gal 2:20).

Compassion
We must be full of zeal / love / prayers and compassion for the unbelievers (Lamentations 2:18-19 / Matthew 9:36-38 / Romans 10:1-2).

Pray with tears in your eyes for the salvation of souls (Acts 14:21-22 / 15:36).

Companion of the Holy Ghost
The power that brings conviction and salvation to man is the Holy Ghost.
The soul winner needs to be saturated with power (Acts 1:8 / Micah 3:8).

A WISE PERSON WINS SOULS FOR CHRIST.

Somebody shout, “PRAISE THE LORD!

Shalom and good morning.
