“BLESSED RESURRECTION DAY TO YOU AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD. BEHOLD THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS RISEN, PRAISE THE LORD!”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“After Shabbat, as the next day was dawning, Miryam of Magdala and the other Miryam went to see the grave. Suddenly there was a violent earthquake, for an angel of Adonai came down from heaven, rolled away the stone and sat on it. ………” (Matthew 28:1-6)

After the Sabbath ended, at the first light of dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to take a look at the tomb. Suddenly, the earth shook violently beneath their feet as the angel of the Yahweh descended from heaven.

Lightning flashed around him and his robe was dazzling white! The guards were stunned and terrified—lying motionless like dead men.

Then the angel walked up to the tomb, rolled away the stone, and sat on top of it! The women were breathless and terrified, until the angel said to them, “There’s no reason to be afraid. I know you’re here looking for Jesus, who was crucified.

He isn’t here—He has risen victoriously, just as he said! Come inside the tomb and see the place where our Lord was lying.

THE EFFECTS OF CHRIST’S RESURRECTION

Because Jesus rose from the dead:

We are freed from the works of darkness.
We are set free from all works of flesh and lewdness. Set free from bad habit and drinking parties. (1 Peter 4:3-5)

We are freed from all fruit of the flesh, fornication, adultery, uncleanness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred and contentions.

We are freed from jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, drunkenness and murder.

Since we have acknowledged the death and resurrection of Christ our Lord:
We are God’s workmanship. (Ephesians 2:10)

Because we have accepted and received Jesus Christ, we are now sons and daughters of God. (John 1:12)

We are a new creation in Christ Jesus. (2 Corinthians 5:17-18)
We are the righteous of God Almighty. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

You are a child of God. (Romans 8:14,16 / 1 Samuel 12:22)
We are partakers of His divine nature. (2 Peter 1:3-4)

We are the Body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:27)
We are complete in Him. (Colossians 2:10 / Psalms 34:10 / 23:1)

We are citizens of the household of God. (Ephesians 2:19-22)
We are ambassadors of Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:20)

Praise the Lord God in the highest and peace on earth towards mankind in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
