BOLDNESS FOR A NEW BEGINNING

WELCOME TO THE MONTH OF AUGUST WHICH IS THE EIGHTH MONTH OF THE YEAR.FIGURE EIGHT SIGNIFIES ‘NEW BEGINNING.’ THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY WILL CHANGE YOUR SITUATION TO A NEW AND FAVOURABLE ONE FROM NOW IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME, AMEN!

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

Kefa and the other emissaries answered, ‘We must obey God, not men. The God of our fathers raised up Yeshua, whereas you men killed him by having him hanged on a stake’” (Acts 5:9).

Then Peter and the apostles replied, We must obey God rather than men. The God of our forefathers raised up Jesus, Whom you killed by hanging Him on a cross.

With similar boldness, they had earlier declared to the stunned assembly of Jewish religious high-ranking leaders that there was no name beside that of Jesus by which salvation may be obtained. (Acts 4:12)

Paul the Apostle was to follow later, repeating and emphasizing one of the cardinal pillars of the gospel that…. (Romans 1:17)
Jesus Himself taught…. (John 3:3) Jesus also taught that He Himself is the only way to God the Father. (John 14:6)

Paul the Apostle explained how to attain this way to God (Rom 10:9). In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul still explained that this salvation is a gift of God and not the result of the work of man’s hand (Ephesians 2:8). He repeated the same truth in Titus 3:5.

However, these cardinal truths had become lost as man gradually replaced the Word of God with their own traditions. So sad, that these days man’s traditions are held above the very Word of God. This was the same problem that Jesus had with the Pharisees in His own day.

These Pharisees even dared to question and queried Jesus. “Who do……..” (Matthew 15:1-3, 7-9)
Beloved saints take a deep breath concerning the way you are traveling and your commitment to God.

Aren’t you challenged by the life of all these men of the great God who has gone before us?
Think again and consider your ways today! (Haggai 1:5) After the revolutionary work of the early church, many congregations gradually began to slip into darkness of error.

False prophets and deluded zealots went about teaching their own fancies. The main line churches grew orthodox and conservative, gradually losing focus of its soul-winning mission. There were man-made orders, laws and rules that led them away from the real gospel.

May God grant us boldness of a new beginning from the old ones in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

TO BE CONT’D.

Sabbath shalom and good morning.
