HARMONY BETWEEN THE WORD OF GOD AND THE HOLY SPIRIT (CONT’D)

THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE BIBLE AND MAN
(Romans 8:9, 14-16 / Ephesians 2:1 / John 14:17 / Acts 2:38 / 1:8 / Ezekiel 36:25-27 / 1 John 5:6 / 1 Peter 1:23 / 2 Corinthians 3:18)

The sinful or fallen man becomes convicted and converted by the free operations of the Bible and the Holy Spirit.
Transformation into Christ-likeness is the will of the Father, wrought by the Bible and the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:13 / 5:26-27 / John 15:3 / 2 Corinthians 3:18).
This ensures regeneration or newness of life, purity of heart and infilling of the Holy Spirit (John 3:5 / 1 Peter 1:22-23 / Ezekiel 36:25-27).

Harmony between the Bible and the Holy Spirit demands that believers and ministers submit to the authority of God’s Word above personal opinion.
Our experiences, doctrines, interpretation of the scriptures and relationship with other believers must be in line with the Spirit-inspired Word of God.
We must always esteem the Word of God (Job 23:12 / 2 Timothy 2:15).

When we understand the Word of God by the Spirit, then it will become mirror, light, hammer, medicine and food to us
(Jeremiah 23:29 / 5:14 / Proverbs 4:20-21 / James 1:23-25).

Our regeneration, growth to maturity, life of holiness and righteousness and true fellowship to man and God depends on the agreement of the Bible and Holy Spirit with our spirit (1 John 1:3).

THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE BIBLE AND MINISTRY
(John 14:26 / 1 Corinthians 2:3, 14 / 2 Corinthians 3:6 / Acts 13:2-4 / Mark 16:20 / 2 Peter 3:15-16 / Ephesians 4:8-15)

The church is borne by the Word of God and appointed into service by the Holy Spirit working together in harmony.
Ministry is specifically of the word of the gospel, in mission, evangelism and establishment of believers in the church.
The Holy Spirit is the basis of all missions, proclamation and service.

By faith in the Word, the church is built and by the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the Word is directed.
Every church or ministry should seek to exalt the totality of the Word of God in order to abound in the miraculous manifestation of God’s power in ministry.
There is no faith apart from the Word of God.
There is no miracle apart from obedience of faith and faith of obedience.
The spirit of faith operates on the Word.

The more of the Word of God that the leadership in the church allows in their spiritual lives, the more the manifestation of the Spirit’s presence will be manifested in that church.
