MAINTAINING A BLAMELESS LIFE FOR SPIRITUAL WARFARE (CONT’D)

PATH TO A BLAMELESS LIFE
(2 Corinthians 5:17 / Genesis 3:1-7 / Romans 3:12-14 / 3:23 / Revelations 3:20)

The creation of man has been a thing of sorrow to the devil, who is also called the prince of the world, the adversary and the enemy of our souls.
God made man in His image but the devil, our eternal enemy visited man through temptation.

Satan led Eve to failure but the victory over the enemy of our faith was won when Satan received his punishment (Gen 3:14).

Sin made man an enemy of God.
Sin separated man from God.
Sin brought man under the control and leadership of Satan.
Sin made man a victim in the spiritual battle.

For us to be victorious and completely cleansed from our sins, Christ Jesus has to be made Lord and Saviour of our lives.
We must set ourselves to the pathway of a blameless life and more so to answer the call to a life of purity which is highly mandatory.

PURITY, MARK OF A BLAMELESS LIFE
(1 Peter 1:15-16 / Isaiah 52:11 / Leviticus 11:45 / Hebrews 12:14)

Purity of life is a command from God.
All through the Scriptures, the clarion call of God unto His children is to be holy within and without.
Without holiness in life, a Christian believer cannot maintain a blameless life before the Lord.

God Almighty did not demand this experience in the land of Egypt or in the wilderness from the children of Israel.
But after they left, He commanded them to be holy as He is holy and to live a life of separation.
This experience is a practical one that must be seen in our lives.
Holiness must be seen in us in all manner of life such as conversation, comportment, deeds, thoughts and relationship with one another.

In all our services to the Lord, there must be purity of life and purity of heart and not just head knowledge.
We must also recognize our spiritual adequacies and crucify the flesh (Gal 2:20).
We must pray against unbelief and humble ourselves before God.
After our salvation experience, it is absolutely essential that we seek God for the sanctification experience as He promised (Lk 1:73).

To be continued.

Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,

Dr. Daniel O. C.
