HARMONY BETWEEN THE WORD OF GOD AND THE HOLY SPIRIT

Bible, the Word of God is the basis of authenticating all manifestations to determine whether they are of God (1 Corinthians 12:3).
Between the Holy Scriptures and the Holy Spirit is concord, perfect unity, complete agreement and rapport.
This is because the Holy Scriptures were written by men who were inspired by the Spirit of God.

The divine word received and absorbed, transformed men and women into visible Christ-like character by the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
The Bible was written by about 40 men who lived in various ages and generation spanning a period of over 1800 years.
Yet there is perfect unity in their writings, showing complete harmony.

Holy scripture does not lend itself to private interpretation but by the Spirit of God who worked through each of them (2 Peter 1:20-21).
Therefore, we must maintain conscious exaltation of God’s Word in any mode of worship.
Errors must be avoided and all spiritual manifestations conforming to the Word of God (1 John 4:1).

The Bible and the Holy Spirit must be given free entrance in our meetings.
The church is borne by the Word and the Spirit.
Dynamic operations of the Holy Spirit in the ministration of the Word brings about numerical, organic and conceptional growth.

1. THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE BIBLE

(2 Timothy 3:16, 12 / 1 Peter 1:11 / Job 32:8 / John 6:63 / Ephesians 6:17 / Hebrews 4:12)

The Bible is the inspired Word of God.

It was given by the special influence of the power of the Holy Spirit upon the minds and lives of holy men which enabled them to make an infallible record of divine truth. In the regenerating and refining process in individual lives, the Word and Spirit work hand in hand (John 3:5 / 1 Peter 1:22-23).

It is the Holy Spirit who opens the eyes of our understanding to the written Word.
No man truly understands the mind of God nor rightly divides the Word of truth without the assistance of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and man’s relationship with God.
The Holy Scripture has wonderful unity in meeting the needs of people with diverse languages, backgrounds or customs.

Its superiority to other books, influence on nations and individuals are authentic.
The proliferation of the Holy Bible from century to century until now proves of its power, authority and pre-eminence.
