Calvary greetings to you in the blessed name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, Amen!

THE ODE TO THE WORD OF GOD (CONT’D)

Beloved, the answer to the whole world’s trouble is the eternal Word of God.
Take time to read, study, meditate, accept, obey and apply it in your life.
Blessing untold and unprecedented will follow.

The Word of God is ever living.
Generation follows generation, yet the Word of God lives.
Nations rise and fall, yet God’s Word lives.
Kings, dictators and presidents come and go, yet God’s Word lives.

People hate, despise and curse God’s Word, yet it lives.
Many people doubt, suspect and criticise God’s Word, yet it lives.
God’s Word is condemned by the atheists, yet it lives.
God’s Word is scoffed at by the scorners, yet it lives.

God’s Word is exaggerated by the fanatics, yet it lives.
God’s Word is misconstrued and misstated, yet it lives.
God’s Word is ranted and raved about, yet it lives.
The Word of God is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

The Word of God is the gate to heaven.
God’s Word is a standard for childhood.
God’s Word is a guide for the youth.
God’s Word is an inspiration for the matured.

God’s Word is a comfort for the aged.
God’s Word is food for the hungry.
God’s word is water for the thirsty.
God’s Word is rest for the weary.

God’s Word is light for the heathen.
God’s Word is salvation for the sinner.
God’s Word is grace for the believers.

Beloved saints of God:

To know the Word of God is to love it.
To love God’s Word is to accept it.
To accept the Word of God means life eternal.
Would you like to know, love and accept the ever-living Word of the living God?
Do so today for your good in eternity.

I quote:

Woodrow Wilson: “A man has deprived himself of the best there is in the world who deprived himself of the knowledge of the Bible.”
Napoleon Bonaparte: “The Bible is more than a book. It is a living being with an action, a power which invades everything that opposes its extension.”
George Washington: “It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.”
Thomas Jefferson: “I always have said, and always will say that studious perusal of the sacred volume will make better citizens, better fathers and better husbands.”

Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,

Dr. Daniel O. C.
