NEED OF THE HOUR (CONT’D)

CONQUERING THROUGH INTERCESSION
(Acts 12:15-17 / Nehemiah 1:4-11 / James 5:14-15 / 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 / 2 Chronicles 20:1-12, 14-17, 24)

In every generation, God has people who do great exploits and conquer through intercession.
These accomplishments cut across individual and national victories.

Abraham interceded for Lot and his family and they were spared from the divine destruction of Sodom. (Genesis 18:23-33)
Through Nehemiah’s intercession, the wall of Jerusalem was rebuilt and Israel had restoration. (Nehemiah 1:4-11)
Esther the Queen interceded for the Jews in Shushan and they escaped the conspiracy of extermination. (Esther 4:16-17)

The early church interceded on behalf of Peter and he was released from prison through supernatural intervention. (Acts 12:5-17)
Apostle Paul sustained the churches that he planted through consistent prayer of intercession. (Ephesians 1:15-23 / Philippians 1:3-7)
Our Lord Jesus, the greatest Intercessor was able to accomplish His task for the salvation of all people through intercession. (Luke 22:39-44 / John 17:12-20)

We are blood-bought, spirit-filled, armed to the teeth with the Word of God. Therefore, begin to intercede!
We must not be afraid of the devil and his hosts who dare to stand in our way because Jesus is praying and interceding for us every time.
We should not fear the forces of darkness in the world because they are afraid of us.
Therefore, quit playing but begin to pray and intercede now!
