THE LOST BEAUTY, GLORY AND PARADISE REGAINED (CONT’D)

REDEMPTION – GOD’S PROVISION FOR TOTAL RESTORATION

There is a vacuum created in the heart of every human being as a result of our lost position with God.
In order to fill this vacuum, man is running everywhere in search of knowledge, identity, freedom, career, religion, power, money, fashion, and acquaintance, etc.
All these efforts cannot fill the vacuum because all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

The human race has rebelled against God and broken His divine law and ordinances, thereby incurring death penalty.
Man being under the sentence of death could not pay for his own death penalty and live to enjoy freedom from sin.
Therefore, God sent Jesus Christ to die for mankind (Genesis 22:7-8, 14 / 3:14 / John 3:16 / Romans 5:8).

There is a complete removal of guilt through the death of Christ on the cross (Isa 53:4-8 / John 1:29 / Acts 8:32-35).
Also there is protection from eternal punishment (Exodus 12:13 / Matthew 26:28 / Ephesians 1:7 / Colossians 1:12-14).
Now we are redeemed, purchased, bought back again to be God’s peculiar possession (Acts 20:28 / 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 / 7:23).

Characteristics Of Genuine Repentance in James 4:7-10

Submission to God Almighty through Christ Jesus.
Resistance to the devil at all times.
Draw near to God in every situation and circumstance.
Clean your hands from all manner of filth and impurities.
Purify your heart from all bitterness and hatred.

Lament over wickedness that has ridden the world and its inhabitants.
Weep over the sins committed through words and actions that grieve God’s heart.
Turn completely from evil ways to righteous ways.
Mourn for the rampant backsliding of God’s people.
Humble yourself before God and let Him divinely raise you up for His glory.

Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,
