HOW TO WIN SOULS THROUGH LOVE AND FELLOWSHIP

You need to be in the fellowship of a church. It is good that you belong to a church.
If you separate a live coal from the others, it will soon die out.
However, if you put a live coal in with other live coals, it will be aglow that will last for hours.
To continue in the things of God, you must be in some type of fellowship with other Christians.

Matthew 28:18-20 / Mark 16:15-18, 20 / Matthew 25:31-45 / 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 / Acts 2:41-42 / 11:26
The supreme task of the church is the evangelism of the world.
The most important task of the hour is carrying out our Lord’s last orders and instructions.
The work of winning the people of our world is paramount and urgent.
A man of God, R.A. Torrey, once gave six reasons why every Christian believer must make soul winning the business of life.

It is a command from the Lord Jesus Christ Himself (Matthew 28:19).
Will you disobey the Lord Whom you claim to love?
Do not forget that it is a serious offense in warfare to disobey your commanding officer.
Dare we disobey our Chief Commanding Officer, the Lord of host, Jesus Christ?

Evangelism was the business purpose of life that our Lord Himself had in His earthly mission. (Luke 19:10)

Evangelism is the work that will enjoy the unspeakable blessing of the personal fellowship of Jesus Christ Himself (Matthew 18:20). As a matter of experience and also of Bible teaching, the personal companionship of our Lord is dependent upon our fellowship with Him in His work of saving souls.

It is in the work of evangelism that you enjoy the fullness of the Holy Spirit’s presence and power (Acts 1:8).
Evangelism is the work that produces the most beneficial results (James 5:20).
Evangelism leads us to abundant and unprecedented rewards and blessings (Daniel 12:3).

Do you shine for Jesus, or do you shine for the world?
Have you made preparation to shine in heaven or you choose to shine for the universe?
Beloved if you shine for Jesus, surely you will shine forever.
Soul winners are wise. They do it in love and out of love.
The work of evangelism is not complete until the people are conserved and preserved in a lifelong fellowship of the believers.

THE WHOLE FACET OF EVANGELISM
(Matthew 28:18-20 / 25:31-45 / 2 Corinthians 5:14-15)

When the Lord gave the commission, He knew that we have to do it in social contexts.
As we preach the gospel, we need to take note of the social needs of our prospects and those we led to Christ.

In Matthew 25:31-45, we can observe the following level of needs:

The hungry and thirsty representing those lacking the basic needs of life.
The stranger: who has no shelter or the means thereof.
The naked – exposed are vulnerable
The sick – those suffering affliction, pain and hurts
The imprisoned – suffering deprivation, alienated and persecuted.

These categories may be saints or sinners. We must reach them with the gospel and help heal their wounds.
We have many hurting people among the very intellectuals. Our capacity to affect our generation for Christ is immense.
On the intellectual front, Lenin of Russia won the Russian intellectuals to communism.
Therefore, we also through the grace of God must win our intellectuals for Christ.
Saul of Tarsus was an intellectual; still our Lord brought him to the Christian fold at the appointed time.
