Calvary greetings to you in the blessed name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, Amen!

PRINCIPLES FOR CHRISTIAN LIVING

A Christian is free but not free to sin.
Every Christian can boast of having four degrees:
B.A. – Born Again
M.A. – Mightily Altered
D.D. – Divinely Destined
PhD – Preaching Healing and Deliverance

Therefore, the Christian life is the world’s bible.
There is a fresh anointing being poured forth upon those who are seeking a deep walk with the Lord.
There must be a deep hunger to know the Lord in a new and living way.
We must quickly return to the old landmark even as God the Father promises us more grace through His Son, Jesus Christ.

You may ask: What are these principles for Christian living?
LOVE
Love is the hallmark of Christian living. Love is the foundation for our faith.
Jesus declared in John 13:34, “A new commandment I give to you.”
All our works for the ministry must be based on love (1 John 2:4-5 / 4:7-11).

TRUTH (John 14:1-7)
In John 14:17, Jesus promised us of the Spirit of Truth (John 16:13).

FAITH (Hebrews 11:1-3, 6)
Remember, prayer is the key to the kingdom, but faith unlocks the door.

HOPE
The Bible declares that Jesus has brought better hope for us.
“For the law made nothing perfect. On the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope in which one draws near to God” (Hebrews 7:19).

1 Peter 3:15 talks about the hope in us.
1 Timothy 1:1 states that the Lord Jesus is our hope.
Jeremiah 29:11 declares that God has given us a hope of glory.
Apostle Paul declares to the Thessalonians brethren that Jesus Christ has given us a good hope.

PRAYER
Prayer is a mighty weapon that the Holy Spirit uses to equip us for God’s work.
Prayer is making earnest petitions to our Father. Jesus taught His disciples how to pray (Luke 11:1-4).

FASTING
Through fasting we humble ourselves before God.
Apostle Paul knew what it meant to fast (2 Corinthians 6:5 / 11:7).

GIVING
Apostle Paul also reminded us about the blessings of giving (2 Corinthians 9:8-12 / 8:9).
Outward circumstances and difficulties should not inhibit generosity in giving.
The Macedonian churches were not giving out of abundance, but they were generously giving out of their poverty (2 Corinthians 8:1-4).

We must give not because we have to give but because we are willing to give.
We must always give far beyond our financial ability.
We must see the opportunity to give unto the Lord as a privilege and not as an obligation.
Giving unto the Lord is to be viewed as Christian grace. Remember that joy and generosity are twins; they accompany each other.

COMMITMENT
There will be no strong relationship without commitment and there will be no genuine commitment without time investment.
This word “commitment” can change your life if only you can learn the principles of giving yourself completely to God.
Apostle Paul admonishes, “Guard what was committed to your trust, avoid profane and idle words” (1 Timothy 6:20-21).
Apostle Peter admonishes us to be steadfast (1 Peter 4:7-19).

SEPARATION (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)

DEDICATION (Ephesians 6:10-12)

Remain blessed and rapturable,

Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,

Dr. Daniel O. C.
