WOW – 08 OCTOBER 2025: THE UNIQUENESS OF CHRIST JESUS (CONT’D)
Senior Pastor Daniel O. C. | Oct 08, 2025
Calvary greetings to you in the blessed name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, Amen!
THE UNIQUENESS OF CHRIST JESUS (CONT’D)
Christ Jesus is the way – men without Him are like Cain, wanderers, and vagabonds.
Christ is the truth – men without Him are liars, like the devil.
Christ is the light – men without Him walk in darkness and know not whither to go.
Christ is the life – men without Him are dead in trespasses and sin.
Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
The Bible is replete with stories about many people and events. Still there is no single person or event that was mentioned throughout the Old Testament the way Jesus Christ was mentioned.
This makes Him unique. If you want victory in your life as well as the salvation of the Lord, then Jesus Christ, the perfect sacrifice is the only one who can take away the burdens and punishment of sins.
The Old Testament has a lot and great things to say about Jesus Christ.
- In Genesis, He is revealed as the Seed of the woman who is ordained to bruise the head of Satan.
- In Exodus, He is the Passover Lamb sacrificed for us, Manna the Bread from heaven, the Rock who followed the Israelites and gave them water to quench their thirst.
- In Leviticus, He is the High Priest who is touched with the feelings of our infirmities.
- In Numbers, He is the Brazen Serpent lifted upon the pole for our salvation and healing.
- In Deuteronomy, He is the Prophet like unto Moses, who reveals unto us the mind of God.
- In Joshua, He is the Captain of the host of the Lord who goes before us in all the battles of life.
- In Judges, He is the Judge and the Lawgiver.
- In Ruth, He is the Restorer of life and our nearest Kinsman.
- In First and Second Samuel, He is the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord God.
- In First and Second Kings, He is the Reigning King whose dominion covers the whole earth.
- In First and Second Chronicles, He is the Strength of God.
- In Ezra, He is the Faithful Reformer.
- In Nehemiah, He is the Rebuilder of the broken walls of our invaded lives.
- In Esther, He is the King before whom Satan the anti-Christ of Haman must fall.
- In Job, He is the Living Redeemer.
- In Psalms, He is the Lord my Shepherd.
- In Proverbs, He is the Wisdom of God, the Friend who sticks closer than a brother.
- In Ecclesiastes, He is the Truth Keeper, who alone can instruct His people on the vanity of this world.
- In Song of Solomon, He is the Bridegroom, the Lover of our souls. If you feel lonely, understand that Jesus can be your Bridegroom. Whatever problem you have, He is able and willing to take them away.
To be continued.
Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,
