PUT OFF THE MASK (CONT’D)

SELF-EXAMINATION

If you will sincerely reflect on your life now, can you claim to be free from this vice of double-standard lifestyle?
Do you portray to be what you are not by assuming an appearance of virtue outside?
What is your relationship with your spouse and household?
Is your relationship frustrating, confusing and disturbing?

Do you sometimes ponder over this helplessness yourself and desire to get rid of it and be changed completely?
Do you desire to live a winsome life?
I am convinced that you want to take away your mask and save your marriage and your relationship from eventual ruin.
It is not too late to begin to reflect on your relationship with your spouse, household and friends.
Will you depend solely on Jesus Christ to possess a positive self-image?

HOW CAN YOU MAINTAIN A LOVING IMAGE IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP?

Establish a new relationship based on reasonable conduct.
Let your relationship be selfless, based on mutual respect and godly inclination.
Accept honest emotions and let the atmosphere of acceptance destroy rejection and neglect.
Provide healthy, godly and humorous climate at home to eradicate suspicion, tension and stress.
Learn to appreciate one another, the good works and gifts presented without passing bad or hurtful remarks.

Remember, no labour put in to restore a good relationship will go unrewarded.
God will never fail or forsake you.
Only be faithful in your walk with God, work for Him and you will be greatly enriched here and in eternity.

(1 Peter 1:22-23)
Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren,
love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again,
not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.

Now that you have taken away the mask off you, sit back and see God in action for your good.
