Calvary greetings to you in the blessed name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, Amen!
BE AN UNSTOPPABLE BELIEVER (CONT’D)
EXAMPLES OF UNSTOPPABLE SERVANTS
Moses the prophet did not allow the disobedience of the Israelites to stop him from following God.
Joshua the son of Nun did not allow any situation to stop him from defeating the enemies of God. He stopped the sun. (Joshua 10:12-14)
Nehemiah the builder did not allow the enemies of progress to stop him from his mission. He did not allow lack of resources, power or false accusations to stop him. (Nehemiah 2:19-20 / 4:3-6, 14-23)
Daniel the prophet did not allow false accusations of mean people to stop him from obeying God. Not even the danger of the lions’ den could deter him.
(Daniel 6:10-17, 18-23)
The three Hebrew youths, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, chose not to bow down to worship the golden image.
Even the fiery furnace could not stop them from their total trust in God Almighty. (Daniel 3:16-25)
Deborah the prophetess did not let the unsteadiness of her military commander, Barak to deter her action against the enemy. (Judges 4:6-9)
David the youth did not let his inexperience in battle stop him from challenging the enemy, Goliath.
The size of Goliath, his warfare experience and dangerous weapons could not deter David from destroying him. (1 Samuel 17:45-50)
Joseph the dreamer did not let his brothers’ hatred stop him.
Pharaoh’s prisons also could not stop him and neither could the false accusations of Potiphar’s wife. (Genesis 39:7-23)
Abraham the father of faith did not let the doubt of Sarah stop him from believing God. (Romans 4:17-21)
Elisha the prophet did not let the doubt of Gehazi, his servant, to stop the faithful prophet from believing God for protection. (2 Kings 6:15-17)
Jesus our Lord did not let the doubt of Peter the apostle stop Him from helping Peter when he was sinking. (Matthew 14:28-31)
The deficiency in the height of Zacchaeus did not stop him from making extra effort to see Jesus.
The overwhelming crowd did not stop the woman of the issue of blood from touching Jesus for her healing. (Matthew 9:20)
Few loaves and few fishes did not stop Jesus from feeding the 5000 and 4000 people respectively after the gospel campaign. (Matthew 14:16-21 / 15:34-37)
Beloved saints of God, what will stop you from following Jesus whole-heartedly, serving Him sacrificially and loving Him with all your heart, soul and spirit?
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” (Romans 8:35). “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:37-39).
Make your commitment now and rededicate yourself as you consecrate yourself for God’s glory.
Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,
Dr. Daniel O. C.
