WISDOM NARRATIVES IN PERSPECTIVE

Beloved Saint of God Most High,

Calvary greetings to you and yours in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen!
May the Lord God Almighty bless you with a wonderful and glorious Christ-centred week-end ahead in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.
Exalt her, and she will promote you; she will bring you honour, when you embrace her.
She will place on your head an ornament of grace; a crown of glory she will deliver to you” (Proverbs 4:7-9)

The beginning of Wisdom is: get Wisdom skillful and godly Wisdom!
For skillful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing.
And with all you have gotten, get understanding, discernment, comprehension and interpretation.
Prize Wisdom highly and exalt her, and she will exalt and promote you; she will bring you to honour when you embrace her.
She shall give to your head a wreath of gracefulness; a crown of beauty and glory will she deliver to you.

WISDOM NARRATIVES

The razor blade is sharp but it can’t cut a tree; the axe is strong but it can’t cut the hair.
Everyone is important according to his or her own unique purpose and divine endowment.
Never look down on anyone unless you are admiring their shoes.

When wisdom speaks, be silent. Do not waste your candle when the sun is shining.
Reset…Restart…Refocus…as many times as you need to. Just do not quit.
You do not grow when things are easy, you grow when you face challenges.
Not every day is a good day, Live anyway.
Not everyone will tell you the truth, Be honest anyway.
Not all you love will love you back, Love anyway.
Not all deals are fair, Play fair anyway.

Both faith and fear demand you to believe in something you cannot see. You choose.
People wait all day for 5pm to go home from work. All week for Friday week-end.
All summer for winter. All winter for summer and all of life for happiness, but remember happiness is the choice you make.
Do not let the pursuit of tomorrow diminish the joy of today for joy comes from the Lord.
The tiger lies low not from fear, but to aim. Be calm in the midst of crisis.
Indecision is the thief of opportunity.

Balance. Never let success go to your head and never let failure go to your heart.
Do not share everything with everyone, you might be educating and feeding an enemy.
There will always be a reason why you meet people.
It’s either you need them to change your life for good or you are the one who helps to change theirs.
The world around you is beautiful only when you are at peace with the world within you.
Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is a Mystery and Today is a Gift. That is why it is called Present.

Truth is like a lion; you do not have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself.

Everybody shout a loud, “PRAISE THE LORD!”
