“BELIEVERS’ CHRIST CENTERED ETHICS”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“For God has not intended that we should experience his fury, but that we should gain deliverance through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, who died on our behalf so that whether we are alive or dead, we may live along with him……..” (1 Thessalonians 5:9-11)
For God has not destined us for wrath but to possess salvation through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One.
He gave His life for us so that we may share in resurrection life in union with Him—whether we’re awake or asleep. Because of this, encourage the hearts of your fellow believers and support one another, just as you have already been doing.
BELIEVERS’ CHRIST CENTERED ETHICS
If you do not live by it, you do not believe it.
An upright man can never be a downright failure.
Our words may hide our thoughts but our actions will reveal them.
Therefore, a consistent Christian life is the best interpretation and proof of the gospel.
We are to wash one another’s feet (John 13:14-15). Jesus, the Son of the living God, did this on the last night of His life on earth. WHY?
- To demonstrate to His disciples how much He loved them.
- To prove His self sacrifice on the cross.
- To convey the truth that He was calling His disciples to serve one another in humility.
- Be kind and affectionate to one another. (Romans 12:10-13)
- Give preference to one another. (Romans 12:10)
- Be of the same mind towards one another. (Romans 12:16)
- Never judge one another.
(Romans 14:13 / Matthew 7:1-5) - Accept one another (Romans 15:7).
- Reprove and admonish one another mildly (Romans 15:14).
- Share one another’s burden
(Galatians 6:2-3).
- Build up and encourage one another (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
- Accept your wrong with one another (James 5:16).
- Pray for one another (James 5:16).
- Welcome one another with gladness (1 Peter 4:9-10).
- Be submissive to one another (1 Peter 5:5).
- Submission involves selflessness, not seeking one’s interest but eager to serve others.
- Do not be weary in well doing
(Galatians 6:9-10). - Let the love, peace and word of God dwell richly in your hearts (Colossians 3:14-17 / 4:5-6 / Romans 15:13).
WE ARE SAVED TO SERVE AND NOT OTHERWISE.
Somebody shout, PRAISE THE LORD!
Shalom and good morning.
