“PRIZE WISDOM HIGHLY FOR IT IS THE PRINCIPAL THING”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Gain wisdom, gain insight; don’t forget or turn from the words I am saying. Don’t abandon wisdom: then she will preserve you; love her, and she will protect you.” (Proverbs 4:5-6)

Get skillful and godly Wisdom, get understanding, discernment, comprehension and interpretation; do not forget and do not turn back from the words of my mouth.

Forsake, not Wisdom and she will keep, defend and protect you; love her, and she will guard you. The beginning of Wisdom is: get Wisdom skillful and godly Wisdom! For skillful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing. And with all you have gotten, get understanding and discernment, comprehension, and interpretation.

There are only 24 hours in a day but by wisdom, a godly Christian can accomplish in a day what an ordinary, slothful, and pleasure-seeking so-called churchgoer may not get done in a year.

Beyond human appreciation, wisdom has supernatural appeal. She says, “The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old. When He prepared the heavens, I was there, when He drew a circle on the face of the deep” (Proverbs 8:22, 27).

No wonder the Scriptures say that everything that God made at Creation was very good (Genesis 1:31). She is a divine quality of God. Praise the Lord, but do you know her name?

Yes! Her name is WISDOM and her twin partner is called UNDERSTANDING. Wisdom is calling on every Christian to make himself / herself a name among the precious of distinction.

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom, and in all your getting, get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7).

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10).

“Buy the truth, and do not sell it, also wisdom and instruction and understanding” (Proverbs 23:23).

Prize Wisdom highly and exalt her, and she will exalt and promote you. She will bring you to honor when you embrace her in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
