CONDITIONS FOR PRAYING THROUGH SITUATIONS!

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

Those who trust in Adonai are like Mount Tziyon, which cannot be moved but remains forever. Yerushalayim! Mountains all around it! Thus, Adonai is around His people henceforth and forever.” (Psalms 125:1-2)

Those who trust in the Lord are as unshakable, as unmovable as mighty Mount Zion! Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord’s wraparound presence surrounds his people, protecting them now and forever.

THE CONDITIONS FOR PRAYING

  • God has given His never-failing promises to as many as will pray and trust in Him.

  • To pray effectively to a successful life and ministry the following conditions are to be met:

  • You must have a genuine encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ. (John 3:3)

  • You must establish son or daughter – Father relationship with God. (John 1:12 / Matthew 7:11)

  • We must renew and examine our relationship with God. (2 Corinthians 13:5 / Romans 12:2)
  • We must pray to the Father. (God) (Matthew 6:6 / Ephesians 3:14)

  • We must channel our prayer through Jesus Christ the only Son of God. (John 16:23-24 / 14:13-14)

  • We must pray with a forgiving spirit. Forgive all those who have offended you. (Mark 11:25-26)

  • We must pray with our whole heart. (Jeremiah 29:12-13 / Psalms 119:58, 145)
  • We must pray with importunity and perseverance. (Genesis 32:26-28 / Luke 11:8 / 18:1-7)

  • We must pray in righteousness.  (Psalms 34:15, 17-18 / Hebrews 10:22 / 1 Timothy 2:8-9)

  • As we pray, we must ensure that there is nothing in us that prevents the answer such as:-
  • Harbouring sin in our hearts. (Psalms 66:18)
  • Hypocrisy – just praying without abiding in Christ and His word. (John 15:7)

  • Asking with wrong motives.  (James 4:2-3)
  • When our conscience is not clear.  (1 John 3:21)

  • Worry and anxiety which are evidences that our life is not in harmony with our prayers. Until these are dealt with, the answers will not come.

  • Remove unbelief, doubts and fear, which are other enemies of faith.  (James 1:6-7) We need to pray in faith and while doing so,
  • we need to carefully see whether what we are trusting God for is in accordance with His promises in the written Word.  (James 4:3)

  • Use the faith you have now because great faith comes by first using what we have.
  • We do not require a mountain kind of faith to receive all we need for our life.
  • All that we need is the mustard seed kind of faith. (Matthew 17:20)

YOU ARE UNSTOPPABLE IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME, AMEN!

Somebody shout, “THANK YOU, JESUS!

Shalom and good morning.
