WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT!

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

Trusting is being confident of what we hope for, convinced about things we do not see. It was for this that Scripture attested the merit of the people of old. By trusting, we understand that the universe was created through a spoken word of God………..” (Hebrews 11:1-3)

Now, faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen. This testimony of faith is what previous generations were commended for.

Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinated by the power of God’s words! He spoke, and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen.

WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT

  • There are many people who destroy their faith because they are looking only at the things they can see and handle. But when we walk by sight, we forget the promises and power of God.

  • We would play down God’s ability to sustain us. We would allow fear, discouragement and difficulty to overcome us.

  • Faith in God, in His promises and in His unchanging Word never fails. To walk in the Spirit is to walk in the light. The fleshly works of darkness have no connection with the new life in Christ. “But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sins” (1 John 1:7).

  • Our calling is from the kingdom of darkness into the marvellous light of the Lord Jesus Christ. If we have truly been called from the darkness of this world, if we have been brought out of sin and the occult, let us walk in the newness of life.

  • Let there be a clean break from the old life of sin, and let us begin to walk in the light of the Scriptures. We should not be engrossed again with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather reprove them (Ephesians 5:11).

  • The Psalmist declared, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). If we do not want to stumble along the straight and narrow way, we must know the Scriptures and walk in the light that is shed along our way

  • Faith sees the invisible, hears the inaudible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible.

Somebody shout, “PRAISE THE LORD!

Shalom and good morning.
