“BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO TRUSTS IN ADONAI, OUR SUN & SHIELD!”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“For Adonai, God is a sun and a shield; Adonai bestows favour and honour; He will not withhold anything good from those whose lives are pure. Adonai-Tzva’ot, how happy is anyone who trusts in you!” (Psalms 84:11-12)
For the Lord God is brighter than the brilliance of a sunrise! Wrapping himself around me like a shield, he is so generous with his gifts of grace and glory. Those who walk along his paths with integrity will never lack one thing they need, for he provides it all!
Adoni Sabbaoth, Lord of hosts, blessed, happy, and fortunate to be envied is the man who trusts in You, leaning and believing on You, committing all and confidently looking to You, and that without fear or misgiving!
The promise here is unmistakable.
The conditions clearly stated, “walk uprightly with the Lord your God.”
This is why we preach holiness and emphasize on total obedience to the Lord.
This is the reason we encourage every Christian to walk in the narrow way and remain faithful to the word of God in his or her public and private life.
It is understandable that the blessings of God are attached to the obedience of His word. There are several churchgoers who complain and murmur that they lack the blessings of God, even as they claim to be serving Him. They concede to their sinfulness but still affirm their devotion to the Almighty God. What a hypocrisy!!
They can easily admit to their unfaithfulness, “especially pride”, through their words, actions, and deeds. Yet they do not heed any godly sermon that leads them to repentance.
Beloved, repent, and forsake your ungodly ways today and turn to the Lord with all your heart. Receive the word of God and obey it excitedly.
Those who continue in their sins and expect to enjoy the promises of God would find their hopes dashed but blessed are the upright before the Lord God, for they shall inherit the untold favour and blessings of God.
Everybody shout a resounding, “AMEN HALLELUJAH!”
Shalom and good morning.
