FACTORS TO BE CONSIDERED DURING LIFE STORMS!

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

When you pass through water, I will be with you; when you pass through rivers, they will not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you will not be scorched — the flame will not burn you.” (Isaiah 43:2)

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.

FACTORS TO BE CONSIDERED DURING LIFE STORMS

Acknowledgement of Christ’s Presence
When we are riding through the storms of life, we must identify and acknowledge that the Lord is with us. (Daniel 3:23-25)

Avoid Overestimating The Problem

The main or common mistake that people always do during life storms is that we always overestimate the problems. In the book of Mark 4:38, the disciple made the same mistake by overestimating the size of the problem. They said we are perishing.

We need not look at the size of the problems, but we need to consider the greatness of God, His sovereignty, His ultimate power, His supernatural ability, and His immense love for us.

The servants of Elisha, the prophet, looked at the size of the problem, but Elisha chose to see God with the eyes of faith. (2 Kings 6:15-17)

David, the shepherd boy, did not look at the size of Satan in the form of Goliath but chose to trust in His God for the victory.

Avoid Exaggerating Your Problems

During the storm of life, avoid exaggerating the problem. Exaggerating our problems during life’s storm is a common human trait. Exaggeration makes one selfish and self-centred.

Exaggeration makes one to be like a grasshopper while your problem becomes like a giant.
Exaggeration magnifies your problem out of proportion.

Exaggeration makes one to be self-opinionated.
Exaggeration of life storms deviates one from real issues.

Exaggeration makes you relinquish your responsibility.
Exaggeration of problems is the foolish way to avoid the realities of life.

Exaggeration of problems destroys every ounce of trust we have in God.
Exaggeration of our problems is an indirect way of attracting self-pity and unnecessary attention.

During The Storm Of Life You Must Always Run To God (Matthew 11:28/Psalms 55:22)

The disciples did the right thing by going to the right person. (Mark 4:35-40)
The scripture says that the help of man is vain, but God is the very present help in the time of trouble (Psalms 50:15). “Call upon me…”

We must always bring our needs to the Lord, for He promised to be with us (Matt 28:20). Having Jesus’ presence makes the difference (Acts 27:22-25). Therefore, do not depend… (Proverbs 3:5-6)

MARK 4:41
Following this miracle of Jesus, the disciples began to ask this question: Who can this be? Despite their recent experience and their past association with Jesus as He performed miracles, the disciples still did not understand who Jesus really was.

Many of us are like that, regardless of our spiritual experience, our walk with God, and the blessings of unprecedented proportion, yet we do not understand who the Lord really is.

Many times, we are covered with a blanket of fear and doubts. We literally refuse to remember that if God has provided for us in the past, we can be confident that He will do so in the present and in the future as well (Ephesians 3:20-21).

Everybody shout, “GLORY TO GOD!

Shalom and good morning.
