“DIVINE COMMANDS TO BELIEVERS”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“The grass dries up, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand forever” (Isaiah 40:8).
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God, Adonai Yahweh will stand forever.
Problems actually are possibilities in disguise. Some people grow under responsibility while others only swell.
Freedom is a package deal, with it comes responsibilities and consequences.
Therefore, be careful of your thoughts, they may break into words at any time.
DIVINE COMMANDS TO BELIEVERS
The Lord our God has given to us injunctions, orders, commands, mandate and instructions to practice and obey.
What are they:
- Let your light so shine (Matthew 5:16).
- Do not sound your trumpet as you do charitable deeds (Matthew 6:2-3).
- Do not lay up treasures on earth (Matthew 6:19-21).
- Let us deny ourselves (Matthew 16:24).
- Honour our father and mother (Matthew 19:19).
- We must share our blessings with the needy (Luke 3:11).
- We must obey the civil authorities (Romans 13:1-3).
- Let no one deceive himself (1 Corinthians 3:18).
- We must examine ourselves (1 Corinthians 11:28).
- We must do all things in order (1 Corinthians 14:40).
- Let those who are taught in the word support the teacher (Galatians 6:6).
- We must not grieve the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30).
- We must not have fellowship with darkness (Ephesians 5:11-13).
- Wives must be subject to their husbands (Ephesians 5:22 / Colossians 3:18).
- Husbands must love their wives (Ephesians 5:25).
- Wives must reverence their husbands (Ephesians 5:33).
- Hold fast the word of life (Philippians 2:16).
- We must be anxious for nothing (Philippians 4:6).
- Our speech must be with grace (Colossians 4:6).
- We must honour widows (1 Timothy 5:3).
- We must hold fast sound words (2 Timothy 1:13).
- We must be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath (James 1:19).
- The afflicted must pray (James 5:13).
- We must lay aside all envy and evil speaking (1 Peter 2:1-3).
- We must honour every one (1 Peter 2:17-19).
- Women’s adornment must be more of the inward than outward (1 Peter 3:3-4).
- We must have a good conscience (1 Peter 3:16-17).
- We must grow in grace and in the knowledge of Christ (2 Peter 3:18).
- We must have and show compassion to all around us. (Jude 1:22).
“YOU ARE CHOSEN BY GOD TO DO GOOD FOR HIS GLORY!”
Everybody shout, “PRAISE THE LORD!”
Shalom and good morning.
