“WALK WORTHY OF THE LORD TO PLEASE HIM & BE FRUITFUL IN EVERY GOOD WORK!”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“So that you may live lives worthy of the Lord and entirely pleasing to him, being fruitful in every good work and multiplying in the full knowledge of God. We pray that you will be continually strengthened with all the power that comes from his glorious might…” (Colossians 1:10-11)
May you walk, live and conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the Lord Adonai, fully pleasing to Him and desiring to please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and increasing in and by the knowledge of God with fuller, deeper, and clearer insight, acquaintance and recognition.
We pray that you be invigorated and strengthened with all power according to the might of His glory, to exercise every kind of endurance and patience, perseverance and forbearance with joy in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
We are saved to serve but never serve to get saved.
The believers’ talents are not to be laid up for self but laid out in service.
Service was never intended as a substitute for a godly life.
CHARACTERISTICS FOR SERVING THE LIVING GOD
- We must know our God (Daniel 11:32).
- We must have a relationship with God (Philippians 3:10). Remember, knowing is relationship. There is no relationship without commitment and no commitment without time investment.
- We must abide in the Lord (John 15:4-8).
- We must be obedient (Acts 5:29).
- We must be faithful (1 Corinthians 4:1-2).
- We must pray without ceasing (Philippians 4:6 / 1 Thessalonians 5:17).
- We must be wise and courteous (Colossians 4:5-6).
- We must exercise patience and confidence (Hebrews 10:35-36).
- We must be unselfish but diligent in serving the Lord (Romans 12:11-13).
- We must bless those who persecute us (Romans 12:14-15).
WE ARE PRIVILEDGED TO SERVE THE LIVING GOD.
Somebody shout, “PRAISE THE LORD!”
Shalom and good morning.
