“GOD KIND OF LOVE IS THE FOUNDATION UPON WHICH WE BUILD AND THE SOIL ON WHICH WE SOW!”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Don’t let love be a mere outward show. Recoil from what is evil, and cling to what is good. Love each other devotedly and with brotherly love; and set examples for each other in showing respect.” (Romans 12:9-10)

Let the inner movement of your heart always be to love one another and never play the role of an actor wearing a mask. Despise evil and embrace everything that is good and virtuous.

Be devoted to tenderly loving your fellow believers as members of one family. Try to outdo yourselves in respect and honour of one another.

A Christian is a follower, servant, imitator and disciple of Christ.
We must present ourselves to God, then we become a sacrifice that is living, holy and pleasing to God. (Romans 12:1)

We must receive transformation by a renewed mind (Romans 12:2), discovering and displaying the will of God.
We must operate and function in the gifts of the spirit according to the grace given to us (Romans 12:6-8).
We must cling to what is good (Romans 12:9-14)
We are instructed not to retaliate (Romans 12:17-21)

Honour civil laws (Romans 13:1-7). But we are not slaves to men (1 Corinthians 7:23) but to God (Romans 6:18-19)
We must love one another (Romans 13:8-10) Demonstrate your love by giving up those things that may destroy others.

We must put on Christ (Romans 13:11-14)
We must pursue peace (Romans 14:19)

We must be like-minded towards others in order to glorify God with others. (Romans 15:5-6)

A TRUE CHRISTIAN WILL NOT:

Rob a man or anyone of his or her good name.
Take the life of anyone.
Hate anyone.
Work ill towards anyone.
Covet others property.
Speak evil of anyone.

Martin Luther said, a Christian man is a most free Lord of all, subject to none.
A Christian man is a most dutiful servant to all and subject to all.

So under the Lordship of Christ Jesus, we are to balance Christian freedom and Christian responsibility.

BE TRUE TO GOD AND MAN IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME, AMEN!
