TRUE NARRATIVES OF LIFE
Senior Pastor Daniel O. C. | Nov 29, 2024
Beloved Saint of God Most High,
Calvary greetings to you and yours in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen!
May the Lord God Almighty bless you with a wonderful and glorious Christ-centred week-end ahead in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before,
whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began” (Acts 3:19-21).
So repent , change your mind and purpose; turn around and return to God, that your sins may be erased, blotted out, wiped clean, that times of refreshing of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air may come from the presence of the Lord; And that He may send to you the Christ, the Messiah, Who before was designated and appointed for you, even Jesus, Whom heaven must receive and retain until the time for the complete restoration of all that God spoke by the mouth of all His holy prophets for ages past from the most ancient time in the memory of man.
TRUE NARRATIVES OF LIFE
The best apology is a changed character.
Words hold no weight without a corresponding action being made.
When you kneel down to God, He stands up for you.
And when He stands up for you, no one can stand against you.
When evil entities conspire against you in private, they forget one important thing: the Spirit of God hears their plans.
Leaders rise not when the skies are clear, but when storms test their strength and resolve.
Do you remember a time when you chose the harder path because it was the right thing to do?
It was not easy, but deep down, you knew it was the right choice.
Acting with integrity, even when it is tough, shapes your character.
Be careful when you do too much for people for they may start loving your hand and not your heart.
Receive without pride and let go without attachment.
Facts never cease to exist because they are ignored.
People may talk behind your back. Do not worry for they are behind for a reason.
Stay close to people who want more for you and not more from you.
A leader’s strength is not found in calm, but in how they rise when the storm demands it.
Remember, dead people receive more flowers more than the living.
Probably because regret hits harder than gratitude.
Those who point fingers often hide from their own reflection. Growth begins with accountability.
THE THREE TYPES OF PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE
The Leaf People
These come into your life for just a season.
You cannot depend on them, they are weak.
They only come to take what they want, then they leave.
The Branch People
They are strong, but break away when life becomes tough.
They will stay for a season, but will go when life becomes harder.
The Root People
These are very important people; they don’t do things to be seen.
They stay during the difficult times; they will water you; they are not moved by your position and they take you as you are.
Only the Root type of people will stay, no matter the season.
In the short term, you are as good as your intensity.
In the long term, you are only as good as your consistency.
Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,
Dr. Daniel O. C.
