ADONAI IS YOUR REFUGE, A PRESENT HELP IN TROUBLE

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we are unafraid, even if the earth gives way, even if the mountains tumble into the depths of the sea……..” (Psalms 46:1-3)

God is our Refuge and Strength, mighty and impenetrable to temptation, a very present and well-proved help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken into the midst of the seas.

Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling and tumult.

It costs nothing to become a Christian, but it costs everything to be a Christian.
Faith makes a man a Christian. His life proves he is a Christian.

Trials confirm him a Christian. Death crowns him a Christian.
There are two marks of a Christian: giving and forgiving.

The Lord is our refuge. He is our shelter, our haven, our place of hiding.
The Lord is our protection, a place of retreat. The Lord God is our sanctuary.

Believers’ Divine Benefits
As we embrace God’s promises, we enjoy His benefits:

We will never be alone.
Our initiative and risk taking for the kingdom will be kept safe by God.

We will never feel insecure in unknown territory.
God will keep us steady in all things.

He will meet our needs at all times.
He will deliver us and help us in the time of adversity. He will help us to reach our goals in life.

God Gave Us His Word (Psalm 68:11)
God shaped the universe by His word (Genesis 1:2).

God sustains His creation with His word (Hebrews 1:3).
God performs miracles by His word (Romans 4:17).

There is power in the word (Proverbs 18:21). The word that we speak transmits power. The word that we speak reveals our true character.

The word that we speak determines our reward and judgement.
The word that we speak produces fruit.
Our word shapes our destiny.

Remember, words carry a thought, and that thought shapes your attitude and action.
Therefore, let us accomplish God’s will by wise use of our words (Psalm 48:14).

WE ARE SECURE IN CHRIST JESUS!

Everybody shout, “THANK YOU, JESUS!

Shalom and good morning.
