THE ROOT OF THE RIGHTEOUS CANNOT BE MOVED!

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

He who loves knowledge loves discipline, but he who hates correction is a boor. A good man obtains Adonai’s favour, but the schemer his condemnation. No one is made secure by wickedness, but the roots of the righteous will never be moved” (Proverbs 12:1-3).

To learn the truth, you must long to be teachable or you can despise correction and remain ignorant. If your heart is right, favour flows from the Lord, but a devious heart invites his condemnation.

You can’t expect success by doing what’s wrong. But the lives of God’s lovers are deeply rooted and firmly planted. Fully embrace God’s correction as part of your training, for He is doing what any loving father does for His children. For who has ever heard of a child who never had to be corrected?

We all should welcome God’s discipline as the validation of authentic sonship. For if we have never once endured His correction, it only proves we are strangers and not sons.

And isn’t it true that we respect our earthly fathers even though they corrected and disciplined us? Then we should demonstrate an even greater respect for God, our spiritual Father, as we submit to HIS life-giving discipline.

Our parents corrected us for the short time of our childhood as it seemed good to them. But God corrects us throughout our lives for our own good, giving us an invitation to share HIS holiness.

Now, all discipline seems to be painful at the time, yet later, it will produce a transformation of character, bringing a harvest of righteousness and peace to those who yield to it.

Like a boxer, I buffet my body, handle it roughly, discipline it by hardships and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit, not stand the test, be unapproved and rejected as a counterfeit.

Remember to stay alert, sober and hold firmly to all that you believe. Be mighty and full of courage in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

If you readily receive correction, you are walking on the path to life. But if you reject rebuke, you’re guaranteed to go astray.

CORRECT YOUR SELF WITH A CHANGE OF ATTITUDE AND IT SHALL BE WELL WITH YOU!

Shalom and good morning.
