“LET US GIVE THE ATTENTION TO THE DIVINE THINGS FOR OUR ETERNAL PURPOSE!”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“So God created humankind in his own image; in the image of God, He created him: male and female, He created them. God blessed them: God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air…” (Genesis 1:27-28)
So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.
God, Adonai ELOHIM blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it using all its vast resources in the service of God and man; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.
In reality however, the reverse is the case. We have not come to slumber but to stay alert. We have not come to feast but to fish for souls after having met the Lord ourselves.
We have not come to fool around but to be still before God. We have not come to pamper the flesh but to clothe the spirit.
We have come not for death but for life, not for the earth alone but for heaven too.
That is why we are here and that is why God has given each of us our times and lives. He expects us to use them to reflect His priority.
God, Adonai ELOHIM created the whole universe as well as man and woman. He also put us at the centre of the universe as the crown of His creation, saying, “This people I have formed for Myself; they shall declare My praise” (Isaiah 43:21).
He also says in Psalm 102:18, “This will be written for the generation to come, that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord.” It should be understood here that God’s singular purpose for creating man is entirely for Himself alone.
Beloved, let us ask how much of our time do we spend for the Lord? The mundane things of this world that people crave for cannot really fulfill God’s purpose of creation in our life.
If you are already on the path of God’s purpose, many ignorant people will often challenge your dedication and accuse you of thinking too much about God.
They will charge that you are giving too much time to God and focusing far too much attention on spiritual matters. Yet, this is the real purpose of God for your creation.
Let us waste no more time craving for the perishable mundane things of this world but let us give attention to the divine things of God for our eternal purpose in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
“YOU ARE CREATED FOR A DIVINE PURPOSE”
Somebody shout PRAISE THE LORD!
Shalom and good morning.
