“MEDITATE ON ALL THINGS THAT ARE TRUE & PRAISEWORTHY”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“In conclusion, brothers, focus your thoughts on what is true, noble, righteous, pure, lovable, or admirable, on some virtue or on something praiseworthy. Keep doing what you have learned and received from me, what you have heard and seen me doing; then the God who gives shalom will be with you.” (Philippians 4:8-9)

Beloved brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things and fix your minds on them.

Practice what you have learned and received and heard and seen and model your way of living on it, and the God of peace of untroubled, undisturbed well-being will be with you in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

LET YOUR MIND BE RENEWED

Fix your mind on godly and good things.
Let your mind be transformed from an open field that breeds wild weeds to a fresh-watered garden.

Let the fragrance from the fresh flowers of sweet thoughts, praise, and worship to Him, please the heart of your Heavenly Father.

Therefore, let the weeds of unrighteousness and wickedness be pulled out right at its roots through sensitivity to the Holy Spirit empowerment in Jesus’ name!

As you “lead every thought and purpose away, captive into the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5), – before His eyes let each thought be weighed and scrutinized, lest it snowball and become a “monster of evil” to consume you.

Let this be your prayer today:

God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart. Examine me through and through and find out everything that may be hidden within me.

Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares. See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting way, the path that brings me back to You, Adonai Yahweh in Jesus mighty name, Amen!
