Beloved brethren,

Greed and covetousness have caused many not to pay their tithes and offerings. They have forgotten that God has given them their wealth and possessions. “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows” (1 Timothy 6:10). Money is not bad. However, when you are controlled by it and every thought that you have revolves around money, you are in trouble because you have become a slave to it. Do you love money more than God? Do you struggle in giving to the Lord? This has led many to be spiritually dry. Do not be deceived by the devil with his lies. Do not withhold your tithes or delay in giving any longer.

Obedience is better than sacrifice (1 Samuel 15:22). Obey the Lord from now onwards! Let every spirit of deception, bondage and stronghold in your life that hinder you from obeying the Lord to pay your tithes faithfully be broken in Jesus’ name! Let your life be a praise unto the Lord for His glory, Amen!
