John 11:25,26 Jesus said to her: “I am the RESURRECTION and LIFE. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe?”

Beloved Saints of God,

The RESURRECTION is the manifestation of Father God honoring His Son’s sacrificial death on the CROSS. It stands forever as a revelation of God’s way and working out His redemptive purposes for mankind. The message of the cross & the message of the resurrection must be preached together for God’s power to manifest into a new dimension of His unfailing love and amazing grace. Christ’s power is accessible only through conformity to His death on the cross. Resurrection is attained only through crucifixion. The cross is a demonstration of Christ’s love. The resurrection is the demonstration of His power for transforming the heart. The cross and the resurrection form the bridge that leads us out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of light (Colossians 1:13).

If Jesus had not resurrected, we would still live in sin and have no basis for redemption. We cannot lead selfish lives and the life of the resurrection at the same time. We must die to the old life to give way to a “New Life” in Christ. Humility, surrender and being merciful are the supreme signs that we have died to self. We must be “crucified” with Christ in order to enter into His life: “I have been crucified with Christ; it is longer I who lives, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).

Now we have the testimony of Christ – HE IS RISEN AND ALIVE!

Every aspect of spiritual power is concentrated in the revelation of Christ’s death and His resurrection (Philippians 3:10). The resurrected life that flows through us is supernatural. Every time we preach the resurrection, we remind Satan of his defeat. By means of Jesus’ death and His resurrection, He inflicted on Satan a total, permanent & irrevocable defeat: “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it” (Colossians 2:15).

Christ’s resurrection established His kingdom here on earth. When the Holy Spirit reveals the resurrection, it is confirmed with miracles, signs and wonders. God ushered the “latter glory” after Jesus’ resurrection with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the Upper Room on Pentecost. Amen! Hallelujah!

GOD’S LOVE THROUGH THE CROSS WILL MELT OUR HEARTS OF STONE!

Shalom in Jesus’ love,
Pastor Brian Chua
