Beloved brethren,
Learn to wait upon God and stand on His strength through prayer. Know that He will increase our strength when we are weak (Isaiah 40:29, 31). Daniel 6:10-11: “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days. Then these men assembled and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.” When Daniel knew that the power of the enemy was against him, he did not protest, murmur or grumble. He went home and continued his practice of praying three times daily. Do you pray daily? Can your enemy see that you are a man or woman of prayer? Can you prove yourself before God and men?
Daniel did not ask God to destroy his enemies. What he did was to continue giving thanks to God despite the attacks against him. I pray that the God who supernaturally intervened in Daniel’s life will supernaturally intervene in our lives as well. Let God prove Himself in every situation that you go through, regardless of the nature of the problem that you face.
Let us not see ourselves as people who are weak but let us see ourselves as people of power. A man of God must be a man of prayer, but do not pray like a hypocrite. Do not go around showing off and telling people that you are praying. Do not retaliate against your enemy with evil. Do not be pretentious but be honest and sincere in all your ways. Be a person who stands before God without judging others so that you can receive justice from the Lord. Do unto others as you wish others to do unto you. You may have been robbed of your joy but now is the hour that God wants to fill your heart with joy and peace, for He is the Prince of Peace!
Yours for the kingdom of God,
Dr. Daniel O. C.
