For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me and what I dreaded has happened to me. I am not at ease, nor am I quiet; I have no rest, for trouble comes.”  Job 3:25-26

These are the words of men in the bible. Gideon who was called a “mighty man of valor” and Job who was declared “a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil.

Maybe these were the unspoken words running through your mind the last few days or which you had cried out in despair. The BIG “W”s! “Why me?” “Why now?” “Why all these?” “Why so suddenly?” “Why, what have I done?” “What will happen to me now?” “When will it happen?” And following that you cry the “I”-pity song: “I don’t know what to do?” “I don’t know who to turn to?” “I don’t think I can go on like this!” “I desperately need help!”  “I desperately need some answers.”

Beloved you are the child of God. The chosen of the Lord. EL ROI the Lord God whom you serve is the One who sees you. He sees everything – your struggles, your pains. He is a just God. How long you have walked in this relationship with the Lord? And now think about this. If you His child should throw tantrums and fuss about… what is your walk truly in the Lord?

Now look at your situation. Look straight at it and begin to declare the word. Stand on the promise of God. Be bold! Be strong! Don’t be shaken! Don’t raise these kind of “why me” questions. Yes its you! You are attacked not by the Lord but by the devil because the devil knows you are going to be a potential threat to him. So wake up stand up for Jesus. Rebuke the devil. Declare the word. Don’t give up or slow your pace. Pray in tongues. Increasingly. Unceasingly! Have you stood on the promises of God with authority and power? Perhaps its a no! Have you separated some time like 2 or 3 hours to praise and worship the Lord? Perhaps its a no! Even this very question startles you as you think you can’t afford to spend that kind of time! Have you been desperate enough to pray in tongues for an elongated time past your usual regular time? Its a no again! Have you set upon days of fasting and prayer way beyond your usual limited time? Perhaps again it’s a no! When you have not even considered all these it shows you are only impatient and not really desperate! Sacrifice? This is not even in your vocabulary!
If you have raced with men on foot and they have tired you out, Then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace [where you feel secure], Then how will you do [among the lions] in the [flooded] thicket beside the Jordan?” Jeremiah 12:5 Amp B
If in this small matter you have lost it what about greater challenges? Think of those who were martyred for the Lord. They stood strong! They never quit in life or even death! Stay on the narrow way and press on to the victory. Your life bring glory to the Lord! You are not alone. The host of heaven cheers you.

Beloved what you need to do is press in with determination setting your focus on the Lord. Step out of the box you have drawn for yourself and begin to seek the Lord will all your heart, With all your mind, With all your soul, With all your strength. Start with the first step. Surrender your life again. Commit to walk as a true child of God. Be determined to stand against everything that comes to cut your praise, worship, prayer time, reading the word and believing and trusting the Lord. Then you will be strong in the day of the battle!
The grace of the Lord be with you!
