Dearly Beloved in the Lord,
Each one is living his or her own way. No one is concerned to re-order his or her life because reorder means change, sacrifice, giving up, surrender, owning up, being transparent, accountable living clean etc. This is totally quite opposite of what the Bible tells us about the last day characteristics of men and women. The Bible tells us in the book of 2 Timothy 3:1-4: “Don’t be naive. There are difficult times ahead. As the end approaches, people are self-absorbed, money-hungry, self-promoting, stuck-up, profane, contemptuous of parents, crude, coarse, dog-eat-dog, unbending, slanderers, impulsively wild, savage, cynical, treacherous, ruthless, bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and allergic to God.” How true every word of these verses are! The following sentence tells us why people are so strayed from the right attitude, right way, right choices in life and right priorities. They are allergic to God! They want to have nothing to do with God. They build huge, hard, solid, impenetrable walls, around them lest anything penetrate. They continue their lives totally absorbed with themselves, their interests, building their mansions on earth. That’s exactly how some people have been. The very thought of God is their lives is so repulsive. They want to live their own lives. They don’t want God to have any place in their lives because their lives are so occupied with them and their ownselves. No, they don’t have room for God! No, they are fine without God so they say. No, they don’t want God in their lives because everything seems well for them. Their careers are at its best. Everything looks well for them and it seems that nothing can go wrong for so they have assured themselves. But how foolish can they be. How ignorant they are! Just like the fortified Jericho walls that crumbled to the ground so in a moment their riches, labour, trusts will come crashing down. “Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?” Luke 12:20. All are accountable to the Lord whether we like it or not because He is the Lord of heaven and earth, and He is our creator. So as His word says, “Let’s take a good look at the way we’re living and reorder our lives under God.” MSG Lamentations 3:40
Let us search ponder over, examine, carefully scrutinise, our ways. There’s more to do. After we have seen how our ways are, we need to repent and return to the Lord. Repent, return and reoder your lives and live them unto the Lord for then you will see the blessing of the Lord and life everlasting.
In the blessed love of Jesus,
