The Word

Dear worshipers of the Most High,

The inspired word of God says Jesus will save His people “from their sins”, not “in their sins”.

The salvation that our Savior offers is one that takes sinners out from their sins, as contrasted to one that makes room for born again Christians to remain in their sins, being slaves to the devil and waiting for Jesus to save them. The devil has somehow lied to Christians that it is a norm and acceptable condition to remain in sins and Jesus will save them in that condition sometime in the future. Instead of believing the deliverance of the Savior, Christians put up with the bondages of sins. Over time, the Church produces religious Christians who are still living in their sins, being slaves to the devil while waiting for Jesus to save them in their sins.

Beyond the forgiveness of our sins, the salvation of our Savior is also the deliverance from the power of sins. The freedom from the bondages of sins and the liberty as sons and daughters of God is the proof of the Savior in our lives. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek” (Romans 1:16). Just as we believe in salvation, the penalty of sins has been paid by our Savior, we must also appropriate the grace that the power of sin has been broken over our lives. Do not remain in sin and wait for Jesus to deliver you. Be freed from the slavery of devil and its bondages today! Ask in prayer, believe that you have received and the deliverance will be yours (Mark 11:24).

We are to simply believe God for what the Bible says He is. He is the Savior! The Deliverer! The Healer! And He is all that NOW! We do not need salvation, deliverance and healing when we are in heaven. Therefore, gain access to His salvation, deliverance and healing by faith today. “Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?” (Amos 3:3). Can you agree with God that not only He is able to do so for you, but He is also willing (Numbers 21:8, Matthew 14:36, Mark 1:41, James 5:14-15). Submit to God and His truth, the devil must flee from you (James 4:6, John 8:32). Do not allow the devil to touch Jesus’ abundant life for you (Matthew 18:18-19, John 10:10). Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! (Psalms 34:8)

Beloved saints, the time is short, therefore “Occupy till I come” (1 Corinthians 7:29, Luke 19:13). Be part of the glorious work of proclaiming the gospel of Christ which is power of God to save, deliver and heal everyone who believes.

Shalom,
Rev. Wilfred Lim
