Dear brethren,

How then can we enter and abide in God’s presence? How can we enter and enjoy His wonderful fellowship and presence? When one experiences and abides in God’s presence, the evidence is profound. Many people claim to have experienced God’s presence during the time of worship as they felt “goose bumps”. This chapter is not just talking about entering into God’s presence, but abiding there daily. The difference between one man or woman of God to another is the time they dwell in the presence of God. However, it does not mean that if you dwell in the presence of God, you will know everything. You will only know what God wants you to know. Every gift that the Lord gives is for ministry and not for selfish gain.

Some people claim to go into God’s presence, but their spiritual lives are so dry which is contrary to what they profess. These people start blaming the church and other believers for their state, but will never examine themselves. You can take a horse to the river, but it is the horse that decides whether to drink the water or not. If you are feeling dry in your walk with God, take the challenge to find out why others are feeling joyful and peaceful and not you. Find out why you are lacking the joy of the Lord that gives you strength.

Yours for the kingdom of God,
Dr. Daniel O. C.
