Beloved brethren,
The Holy Spirit gives us strength to walk in integrity and the assurance that God’s glory awaits at the end. Jesus promised His disciples that when He left them, He would send the Holy Spirit to guide them (John 16:13). The Almighty God through the Holy Spirit leads and guides us to complete integrity (Psalm 41:12). This explains the biblical principles of integrity. Anything and any event in life has meaning because all things work for good to those who love God. Do not be in a haste to destroy the good that the Lord has prepared for you but maintain your patience. “For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise” (Hebrews 10:36). Keep your eyes on God for He will never leave you nor forsake you. No matter how dark the tunnel might be, there is light at the end of it. Exercise patience without giving up. When the going gets tough, let the tough get going. A winner never quits and a quitter never wins. “As for me, You uphold me in my integrity, and set me before Your face forever” (Psalms 41:12). This verse is a strong incentive for careful behaviour, knowing that we stand before the Lord. Do not take the law into your hands when it seems nothing good is happening. Leave fools at their follies. Judgement belongs to God.
The goal of Christians is to be like Christ, firmly adhered to the Father, unimpaired, undivided and uncompromised, yet liberated (John 8:31-32). Only God through Jesus can make this promise.
Yours for the kingdom of God,
Dr. Daniel O. C.
