Beloved brethren,

WE PUT OFF THE OLD MAN FOR THE NEW MAN

“And have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him” (Colossians 3:10).

When we are born again, we will put off the old man and put on the new man in Christ. The ‘old man’ in everyone differs from one person to another. To one person, their ‘old man’ may be anger, to another it may be easy irritation, stealing, lying, manipulation, pride, etc. When we put on the new man, we will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit who will lead us not to fall back to our old ways. Believers have to beware that the moment they are born again, the devil will try to tempt you to go back to your old ways. However, when you let the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you, the way you see and handle things will change.
